Working with text in Figma
The first way to work with text:
Select "T" (Text) and click in the work area. Type what we need, the text will go on one line. Of course, it can be adjusted later.
The second way:
Select "T" (Text) and holding down the left mouse button create a text area. We will type the text in it and it will be limited by the width of this area. We can also adjust it as we need.
If you have previously copied text, you can simply paste it. The text will be pasted with the same settings with which it was downloaded.
Let's take a closer look at the Text tool.
By selecting a text area in the inspector, you can customize and work with this text.
First, this is the choice of font, then - the style of this font and size. Below - line spacing and letter spacing. Even lower - the distance between paragraphs and opposite - settings that regulate the printed text by width, height and fixed text size.
Next, basic text alignment settings: left, centered and right. On the contrary - at the top, in the center and at the bottom edge.
Well, behind the "three dots" we have more detailed settings for the font.
As with any other shape, we can also apply a different color to the text. Everything works the same here: the same palette, settings and options. You can apply a stroke and various additional effects.
